Rain returns on Friday and sticks around for the weekend

Sunday: Mostly Cloudy. Rain Possible through Afternoon. Tapering off. High 67. 

Monday: Partly Cloudy. High 74. 

WEATHER SUMMARY: 

While a stray storm can't be ruled out this evening, we should be mainly dry through Friday as weak high pressure builds over the Eastern U.S. Tonight, will be clear with a low of 61. 

As high pressure moves offshore, a weather system approaches from the Southern Plains. Clouds will begin to increase into the day Friday. The daylight hours will be dry; though, will be an isolated storm chance towards evening. The high on Friday will be 79. Rain chances will increase from Friday night through Saturday night as the weather system closes in on the Triad. During the period, an few embedded storms are also possible, mainly Saturday afternoon. The high on Saturday will be 75. While it is still a bit unclear, some rain could linger into Sunday morning. Most moisture should exit the area by the afternoon. The high on Sunday will be cooler at 67.

Dry weather will return for Monday and Tuesday. Highs will warm into the mid-to-upper 70s. Morning low temperatures will be in the deep 50s.

The normal low is 57, and the normal high is 78.
