A tropical disturbance over the Bahamas formed into Tropical Depression #3 Monday afternoon. The good news is that this system should stay far away from the Triad.
It is near Florida now, and is expected to turn to the N/NE and track up the East Coast the next few days. It could bring some rain to the NC beaches for a day and some rip currents.
