Heroes Honored at Military Appreciation Night at South Davidson Game

Tonight was military appreciation night at the South Davidson football game. South Davidson players wore camo jerseys, the mid-field logo was painted red, white, and blue, veterans got in for free and were honored by both teams at halftime.

DENTON, N.C. -- There’s nothing like a high school football game to bring the whole community together.

And tonight was all about the heroes that serve the community at the South Davidson High School football game. It was Military Appreciation Night!

Veterans and active military members got into the game for free.

The Wildcats painted their mid-field “S-D” logo red, white, and blue, and the players wore camouflage jerseys.

During halftime, the veterans were honored by both teams.

The Wildcats took on the Dragons of West Davidson High School.

West Davidson won 14-0.
