Carolina Panthers COO Tina Becker Resigns

Becker worked for the Panthers for 19 seasons and served as COO since December 2017.

The Carolina Panthers announced Monday that Chief Operating Officer Tina Becker has resigned.

Becker's resignation comes after the Carolina Panthers were officially sold to David Tepper. The team made the announcement of the official sale on Monday.

Becker worked for the Panthers for 19 seasons and served as COO since December 2017.

Becker joined the Panthers in 1999, working her way up through the organization. She served key roles in directing the organization's business and administrative priorities, as well as dealing with league affairs.

Prior to joining the owner's office, Becker served as the team's director of entertainment from 2012-14.

Becker helped promote special events for the team, and also collaborated in a seven-year research effort to usher in new fan experiences at Bank of America Stadium.

There is no immediate replacement for her position.
