Vault Visit | NC moves to 'safer at home' restrictions

All places had to operate at 50% capacity amid the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Let's travel back to May 24, 2020. 

It was a big weekend for North Carolina as COVID-19 restrictions started to lift. 

It was considered phase two of the state's re-opening plan. Restaurants were allowed to serve customers dining in as long as they followed social distancing and cleaning guidelines. 

Pools, hair and nail salons, and childcare centers were also allowed to re-open. 

But all places had to operate at 50% capacity.
