PILOT MOUNTAIN, N.C. — Travis Hayes hopes the home of his company's new office will not only help him build his business, but also generate business on Main Street in a quiet Triad town.

Hayes, who celebrated the 10th anniversary of Hayco Construction last week, plans to move Hayco into the 6,000-square-foot bottom floor of a former Pilot Hosiery Mills facility at 224 E. Main St. in downtown Pilot Mountain.

Hayes hopes to lease the upper floor of the same size to either a restaurant or brewpub with an events area in the back.
