Suspect arrested in connection to Landmark Center Boulevard shooting in Greensboro, police say

Greensboro police said a person was injured in a shooting on the 6000 block Landmark Center Boulevard, and a suspect has since been arrested.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A suspect was arrested in connection to a shooting in Greensboro Friday, according to police.

The Greensboro Police Department (GPD)said they received a call to the 6000 block of Landmark Center Boulevard about a shooting around 12:46 p.m.

Police said a victim received treatment for a minor injury.

GPD said they have since arrested 34-year-old Gregory Barrett Talbert on the following charges:

  • Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury
  • Possession of a firearm by a felon
  • Malicious assault in secret
  • Armed to the terror of the people

He is in custody at the Guilford County Jail.
