Coronavirus case updates for the Piedmont Triad

WFMY News 2 wants to be transparent in letting you know we will only be reporting numbers from the NCDHHS, CDC, and local health departments.

NORTH CAROLINA, USA — The NC Department of Health and Human Services is reporting a total of 10,923 cases and 399 deaths statewide as of Friday. Keep scrolling to get a look at the case numbers for Piedmont Triad counties.

NOTE: Some numbers may look different from the NCDHHS map - that's because some cases have been verified by local health departments, but haven't been updated yet on the NCDHHS site.

Here's a look at the case numbers in the Triad: 

Guilford County - 415 cases, 30 deaths **34 new cases, 4 more deaths since Thursday**

Forsyth County - 245 cases, 5 deaths **26 new cases since Thursday**

Randolph County - 209 cases, 3 deaths **24 new cases since Thursday**

Davidson County - 166 cases, 8 deaths

Davie County - 31 cases, 2 deaths

Rockingham County - 26 cases, 2 deaths

Alamance County - 106 cases, 2 deaths

Surry County - 13 cases, 1 death

Stokes County - 11 cases

Yadkin County - 17 cases, 1 death
