BURLINGTON, N.C. — A man was found shot multiple times at a crash scene in Burlington Thursday night, according to police.
The Burlington Police Department said around 9:50 p.m., they were called to the intersection of South Graham Hopedale Road and Hanover Road about a shooting. When officers arrived, they found two vehicles involved in a crash. Inside one of the vehicles, officers found a 21-year-old suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police said he was flown to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
Investigators said all parties involved remained on scene, and there are no active threats to the community or surrounding areas at this time.
This investigation is ongoing.
