ASHEBORO, N.C. — Several animals are dead after a small livestock barn Frye Farm Road, off Spero Road, according to the West Side Assistant Fire Chief.
He couldn't share the number of animals that died but said most of the animals inside the barn made it out.
There were reportedly 10 to 12 fire trucks on the scene.
The barn was completely destroyed.
