GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — A deadly fiery crash causes both directions of NC-61 near Highway 150 to shut down, according to officials.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation sent out a notification about a crash that happened right before 5:00 p.m. Saturday. NC-61 is closed between Turner-Smith Road and Highway 150 until 8:00 p.m.
Drivers are asked to use an alternate route of travel.
