J.M. Hunt Jr. Expressway reopens after crash with injuries, police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE: The road is back open.

A crash with an injury closed part of a road in Greensboro Friday night, according to police.

The Greensboro Police Department (GPD) said the southbound lane of the J.M. Hunt Jr. Expressway is temporarily shut down between Patton Avenue and Pleasant Garden Road. 

GPD said the road may remain closed for an extended period of time.

Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route and use caution if traveling in the area.
