Sprague St. temporarily closed for new water and sewer connections in Winston-Salem

The City of Winston-Salem said the road will be temporarily closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Oct. 10 through Oct. 13.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A portion of Sprague Street in Winston-Salem will be temporarily shut down for four days, according to city officials.

Contractor crews will close Sprague Street between Sunnyside Avenue and Stockton Street from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting Monday, Oct. 10, to install new water and sewer connections. 

Work is expected to be completed by Thursday, Oct. 13. The contractor is responsible for all traffic control and drivers are encouraged to plan for alternate routes.
