GREENSBORO, N.C. — Update: As of 2 p.m. Friday, all lanes of West Wendover Avenue reopened.

All westbound lanes of West Wendover Avenue between Virginia Street and N. Elm Street are closed due to a crash involving several powerlines in the road. Eastbound lanes have reopened for travel.
The crash happened just around midnight Friday.
Drivers are asked to avoid this area.
