WEATHER SUMMARY:
Much better weather is on the way as we head into the weekend after a week with daily storms and plenty of rain, with many folks getting several inches over the last few days. Behind a departing cold front, cooler and drier air will start to build in later today as we get ready to start the Mother's Day weekend. A little disturbance will pass us to our south and bring a low chance for an isolated shower or storm through this evening mainly until 7P, but the weekend will stay dry.
High pressure will take over for the weekend with dry weather and sunshine. The mornings will be cool and refreshing, and may even feel a bit chilly after a toasty week. You may want a jacket at nighttime and in the early mornings. Afternoons will be comfortable but a bit below normal with low 70s. By early next week, the high will move offshore and usher back in our typical warmth for this time of the year with upper 70s. Scattered shower chances return by Tuesday.
The normal low is 55, and the normal high is 77.
