DURHAM, N.C. — A cyberintrusion on technology systems on the campus of North Carolina Central University led to the suspension of online classes, our CBS affiliate in Raleigh, WNCN reports.

NCCU officials said they began an investigation Sunday after Information Technology Services (ITS) were alerted of a possible cyberintrusion incident on the campus technology systems.

MyEOL, the campus Wi-Fi network, and other certain systems started to experience disruptions to the normal operations.

Other systems, the school said, continue to be operational.

School officials do not believe any personal or sensitive information was compromised at this time.

ITS has shut down all critical systems requiring logins with NCCU credentials to further investigate the situation.

In-person classes will continue to meet as scheduled.

Online classes are suspended until further notice.
