Greensboro police investigating armed robbery at CVS

Police said the man had a gun and wore a medical mask over his face.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police said a man robbed the CVS on E. Cornwallis Drive early Thursday morning. 

Officers responded to the pharmacy shortly after 3:30 a.m. 

According to the police report, a man wearing a brown or red shirt, light-in-color shorts and a medical mask over his face walked inside the store with a handgun and stole cash. Police said the man left the area on foot. No one was hurt.
