Man killed in Greensboro apartment shooting identified

The shooting happened after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the New Irving Heights apartment complex off Cone Boulevard and Church Street.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A person was shot and killed at a Greensboro apartment complex on East Cone Boulevard, according to investigators.

Police identified the victim as 26-year-old Azhaun Jamah Rivens. 

Police said Rivens was shot after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the New Irving Heights apartment complex. Police and EMS tried to save his life, but he did not survive. 

Police were able to identify each person involved in the shooting and are not looking for a suspect. 

There's no word of any charges at this time.
